How and Why use Aqua Spa?

What to do before using the LO-CHLOR AQUASPA? PROGRAM?
Prior to commencing the program all chlorine or bromine must be removed from the water or alternatively the spa refilled with fresh water.  If you wish to reduce / remove the chlorine or bromine from the water without having to empty the spa or hot tub, we recommended Lo-Chlor Chlorine Remover for fast effective results.
  • Use a start up dose of AQUASPA? SPA SHOCK of 26 grams (approx five teaspoons) per 1000 litres.
  • Allow the pump to run with the cover off the spa.  The water should end up absolutely clear and clean with no smell detectable.  If the spa is still cloudy, repeat the procedure.
  • Once the spa has cleared give it the first normal weekly dose of the 3 required products.
Tips
  • AFTER EACH SPA add a further AQUASPA? SHOCK DOSE (above) to greatly improve the quality of the water & remove any excess body fats

  • BEFORE  converting from chlorine or Bromine either EMPTY the entire SPA or use Lo-Chlor Chlorine Remover to burn out excess Chlorine

  • DON NOT leave the spa over 35 degrees Celsius for days on end with the lid on.
Additional Benefits
  • May be used in all types of spa finishes
  • Is compatible with ozone generators and ionisers
  • Has no effect on heaters thus giving longer heater life
  • Is compatible with all recognised spa equipment, such as heaters and pumps, which are associated with manufacturers' warranties
  • Is compatible with all recognised spa equipment
  • Is non-foaming meaning that it will not block filters, not leave a mess on the spa walls, not cause the heater to corrode and not damage clothing, towels or hair etc
 Maintenance Tips
  • Often a long filter run of 6 hours or more will clean up a cloudy spa if the cover is left off for that time.
  • Remember to clean the cartridge regularly as this is very important in spa maintenance. We recommend using AQUASPA? FILTER KLENZ as it has been specially formulated for this purpose
  • Operate the air blower a few times a week to avoid stagnant water in the pipes as this can be a source of stagnant water smell.
  • Each week remove one bucket of water from the spa to avoid the build up of minerals and chemical residue.
  • Do this regardless of water evaporation loss in order to keep the TDS level down
  • Allow the spa to breathe by leaving the cover off the spa from time to time. This will allow burn off gas to escape otherwise the gas/water can condense and go back into the water creating smelly water and cloudiness.
  • Check the water temperature with a good thermometer. It is dangerous to be in a spa temperature that is above body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius for very long.
  • The best temperature for your spa is 34 to 36 degrees Celsius and no higher
